Yet, who is this girl named MiA, really? Well, she was born and raised in Stockbridge, Georgia. And still resides there on a back pasture of her family’s farm. Even though she has deep roots on that farm, her soul travels with the wind. Oh the places she has been and will go, including a four month stay in Scotland followed with a 2 month adventure throughout Europe by herself. She has touch the soil of Japan and kissed South America through Panama. But, if you made her choose, MiA’s favorite city would have to be Paris, although her favorite country Japan.
MiA has been creative for 33 years, (if you can be considered creative since birth), though it wasn’t until the last few years she would consider herself an artist. Eight years ago, she picked up a camera when her soul was in turmoil. Then later a paintbrush for an oils class. And when her soul raged again she picked up a pen and gave words to her photography. It was only two years ago, her soul had a voice that was pushing its way out and she discovered her skirt collage.
